The Werner H80 is an 80 kg hydraulic demolition breaker for mini excavators in the 0.8–1.5 tonne class. It keeps the same hydraulic requirements as the 60 kg model, but the extra 20 kg and the 40 mm chisel translate directly into faster progress through reinforced concrete, thick slabs and rock.
With 800–1400 blows per minute and a flow of 15–25 l/min, the H80 runs on the same auxiliary circuit you already have set up for a smaller breaker – no changes to the hydraulic system needed.

H60, H80 or H100? How to choose
- Choose the H60 for micro excavators of 0.5–1 tonne.
- Choose the H80 for machines of 0.8–1.5 tonnes, especially if you break every day or work with reinforced concrete and thick floors.
- Choose the H100 for machines of 1.5–2.5 tonnes.
- Nitrogen-charged accumulator chamber. Constant energy on every blow and reduced oil consumption.

What is the real difference between the Werner H60 and H80?
Both need the same 15–25 l/min flow. The H60 is made for 0.5–1 tonne machines, while the H80 is 20 kg heavier, uses a 40 mm chisel instead of 35 mm and is designed for 0.8–1.5 tonne machines, so it progresses faster in hard material.
Can I fit the H80 on a 1.5 tonne mini excavator?
Yes, 1.5 tonnes is the upper end of the recommended class. For heavier machines up to 2.5 tonnes choose the Werner H100.
What maintenance does the breaker need?
Grease every 2–3 hours of operation, check the bushings and dust ring regularly and always work with a sharp chisel. Most failures on small breakers are caused by insufficient greasing.
