The Werner H100 is a 100 kg hydraulic demolition breaker for mini excavators in the 1.5–2.5 tonne class. 220 J per blow and a 45 mm chisel make it the right tool where a 60 or 80 kg breaker starts to bounce off the material – thick reinforced concrete, old foundations, slabs and hard rock.
It works at 700–1200 blows per minute with a flow of 20–30 l/min and a 1/2″ connection. The slightly lower frequency and higher mass mean heavier, more effective blows in compact material.
Technical features at a glance
Weight class: 1.5–2.5 tonnes – For mini excavators from 1.5 to 2.5 tonnes with at least 20 l/min auxiliary flow.
Impact energy: 220 joules – Almost 25% more energy than the 60–80 kg models in the same range.
Hydraulic hose connection: 1/2″ (12.7 mm) – High-pressure connection for reliable pressure transfer.
Blows per minute: 700–1200 bpm – High impact frequency for fast, controlled breaking.
Hammer weight: 100 kg – Heavier blows for reinforced concrete and rock.
Chisel/point diameter: 45 mm – Moil point, flat chisel and wedge chisel versions available.
Operating pressure: 90–120 kg/cm² – Matches the auxiliary circuit of most mini excavators.
Hydraulic oil flow: 20–30 l/min – Suited to the auxiliary circuit of 1.5–2.5 tonne machines.
Mounting: Triangle / vertical (140/170)
When you need 100 kg instead of 80
- Your machine weighs 1.5–2.5 tonnes and has at least 20 l/min auxiliary flow.
- You break thick reinforced concrete, foundations or slabs – not just floors and asphalt.
- You work in hard rock or very stony ground, where a light breaker wastes time.
- You need a 45 mm chisel with higher bending resistance for intensive use.
- If your machine is under 1.5 tonnes, choose the Werner H80 – a breaker that is too heavy overstresses the boom and pins and reduces stability.
- Nitrogen-charged accumulator chamber. Constant energy on every blow and reduced oil consumption.
- Dust ring. Keeps concrete dust away from the bushings and piston – the main cause of premature wear on small breakers.
- Closed box-type housing. Lower noise and vibration – a real advantage on job sites in residential areas.
- Spare parts in stock. Chisels, bushings, seals and repair kits available at short notice.
Recommended applications
- Breaking reinforced concrete, foundations and slabs
- Controlled demolition in residential and industrial construction
- Removing concrete platforms, asphalt and kerbs
- Utility trenches in stony or frozen ground
- Hard rock, small quarries and earthworks

Frequently asked questions
What is the difference between the Werner H80 and H100?
The H100 is 20 kg heavier, delivers 220 J instead of 180 J, uses a 45 mm chisel instead of 40 mm and needs a higher flow of 20–30 l/min. The H80 is made for 0.8–1.5 tonne machines, the H100 for 1.5–2.5 tonnes.
Which machine do I need for a 100 kg breaker?
A mini excavator of 1.5–2.5 tonnes with an auxiliary circuit set to 20–30 l/min and 90–120 kg/cm² pressure. Check the values in your machine’s manual.
Can it be used in hard rock?
Yes. With 220 J and a lower frequency of 700–1200 bpm, the H100 is the best of the three compact models for work in compact rock and stony ground.
